Launched in 2016 by Roja Dove, Sultanate of Oman is an Oriental fragrance that captures the essence of its namesake region with precision and depth. The scent opens with a bright citrus-aromatic blend of grapefruit and orange, which soon gives way to rich florals like rose de mai and jasmine, adding a lush, vibrant layer. At its core, the fragrance is anchored by warm spices and smoky oud, creating an atmosphere that is both earthy and mysterious. The woody base notes of guaiac wood and sandalwood lend it a grounded, lasting quality.
Sultanate of Oman is best applied in two generous sprays to capture its full complexity. The citrus notes are fleeting but essential for the initial impact, so it's worth layering them initially. As the warm base notes emerge after an hour, they provide a lasting warmth that pairs well with cooler evenings.
