Roja Dove launched Taif Aoud in 2023, crafting it as an ode to the luxurious and complex interplay of rose and oud. The fragrance opens with aldehydes and bergamot, creating a fresh yet spicy introduction that immediately draws attention. As it develops, Taif Rose takes center stage, blending seamlessly with jasmine and ylang-ylang for a floral bouquet that is both rich and refined. Clove adds an unexpected warmth, while agarwood (oud) provides depth and complexity in the base, supported by benzoin, musk, patchouli, and incense. This composition is not just about individual notes but their harmonious blend, resulting in a scent that feels both lasting and modern.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the full essence of Taif Aoud. The fragrance blooms gradually over time, so it's best applied before an event or in the morning for daytime wear. It leans towards warmer temperatures, making it more suitable for evenings or cooler days when its rich base notes can shine.
