Roja Dove launched Vetiver Pour Homme in 2012 as a Chypre fragrance for men, blending the crisp freshness of citrus with the earthy depth of vetiver and moss. The composition opens with lemon and bergamot, creating an invigorating top that soon gives way to a heart of rose de mai and jasmine, adding a touch of floral warmth. Vetiver Pour Homme then settles into a base of oakmoss, cedar, and guaiac wood, grounding the scent in earthy, woody notes. This fragrance is not just about individual notes but their interplay, where each element complements and contrasts with another to create a rich, layered experience.
Apply two sprays initially — the lemon and bergamot top notes are bright but fleeting. The vetiver and oakmoss base notes develop gradually over an hour or so, making it ideal for daytime wear that transitions seamlessly into evening.

The Professeur de ParfumRoja Dove, born Roger Bird in 1956 in Sussex, was captivated by scent from childhood, later abandoning a medicine degree at Cambridge after a visit to the Guerlain boutique in Paris changed the course of his life.
