Launched in 2020, Fils de Joie by Serge Lutens is a floral fragrance created by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake. The composition centers around jasmine and ylang-ylang, two white florals that create an enveloping sweetness. This is balanced by the warmth of honey, adding a touch of richness without becoming overly saccharine. A musky base rounds out the scent, grounding the floral elements in a subtle earthiness.
Apply Fils de Joie in light layers — the floral top notes are bright but can be overpowering if overapplied. The musky base develops slowly, so it’s best to let it settle for a few minutes before heading out.
