The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 1995 by Serge Lutens, La Myrrhe is an Oriental Spicy fragrance created by Christopher Sheldrake. It opens with a bright citrus note that quickly gives way to the warmth of myrrh and honey, creating a complex interplay between freshness and richness. The heart of white florals adds a softness, while powdery accords lend a subtle, enveloping quality. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too spicy, striking a harmonious balance between its various elements.

How to wear it

Apply La Myrrhe lightly to pulse points; its powdery base notes develop slowly on skin. The citrus top notes are brief but impactful, so avoid layering heavily as it can overpower the more nuanced heart and base.
