Launched in 1993 by Shiseido and crafted by Dominique Preyssas, Bravas is a vibrant aromatic fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. The composition opens with rosemary and lavender, bringing a sharp clarity that cuts through the air. This is followed by green notes and clary sage, which add a touch of earthiness and depth to the mix. As it evolves, the scent transitions into a heart of jasmine and white cedar extract, providing a lush floral warmth that contrasts beautifully with the initial freshness. The base notes of labdanum, oakmoss, leather, and amber ground the fragrance in a rich, woody complexity.
Bravas is best applied in two light sprays to allow its layers to unfold gradually. The fresh top notes dissipate within an hour, giving way to the heart and base notes that carry the scent for several hours. It's ideal for cooler weather when the air is crisp and clear.

The amber molecule enthusiastDominique Preyssas is a fine-fragrance perfumer who left a scientific path after his chemistry degree to study for three more years at ISIPCA, then trained at the Roure Bertrand Dupont Perfumery School and worked at Mane Fils and Takasago before joining CPL Aromas in 2003.
