Launched in 1997, Vocalise by Shiseido is an Oriental Floral fragrance created by the renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The composition opens with a bright and fruity accord of yuzu and black currant, setting a vibrant tone that quickly transitions into the heart notes dominated by orchid and lily-of-the-valley, creating a sense of floral elegance. The base is richly woody with sandalwood and cedar, underpinned by vanilla and musk for a warmth that feels both comforting and sophisticated.
Apply two sprays for optimal effect — the fruity top notes are lively but short-lived, giving way to the heart's floral elegance. The woody base blooms slowly over time, so it's best worn close to the skin where its warmth can be fully appreciated.
