The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 by Sospiro Perfumes, Andante is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men, crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice. The composition opens with the bright freshness of orange and galbanum, before giving way to a heart of sage and geranium that adds an herbal complexity. Black pepper introduces a subtle spiciness, while vetiver, cedar, agarwood (oud), and patchouli anchor the base with earthy warmth. Andante is a fragrance that feels like it moves at its own deliberate pace, balancing freshness and depth in equal measure.
One to two sprays is sufficient — the citrus opening fades within an hour, but the base notes of vetiver and oud continue to evolve over several hours. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a wide sillage, making it ideal for daytime wear or intimate settings.
