HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Jonquille de Nuit by Tom Ford launched in 2012 as a Floral fragrance for both women and men. This composition opens with the bright, fresh notes of mimosa and bitter orange blossom, creating an immediate sense of crispness and green freshness. As it settles, cyclamen and narcissus add layers of soft floral sweetness, while violet leaf and angelica bring subtle herbal nuances that keep the scent from becoming overly saccharine. The base is a blend of powdery orris and warm amber, providing a grounding warmth that contrasts beautifully with the ozonic and aquatic top notes.
Apply one or two sprays directly to pulse points for the best effect. The ozonic top notes fade within an hour but leave behind a lingering warmth from the amber base. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than across a room, so don't be afraid to layer it on slightly heavier if you want that intimate warmth.
