Tubéreuse Nue by Tom Ford is a composition that teeters between the boldness of tuberose and the warmth of leather and musk. Launched in 2021 and crafted by perfumer Yann Vasnier, it opens with lily and jasmine, adding a touch of Sichuan pepper for an unexpected zing. The heart of tuberose and styrax is enveloped by benzoin and cacao, creating a rich, powdery warmth that transitions seamlessly into the base notes of suede, musk, tonka bean, and agarwood (oud). This fragrance is neither overtly sweet nor overly spicy but strikes an elegant balance between floral lushness and animalic depth.
Apply this fragrance in light layers — two sprays are sufficient. The tuberose and jasmine notes are vibrant but fleeting, while the base notes of suede and musk take time to bloom fully on the skin. Best suited for evenings when you want a scent that is both intimate and commanding.
