Launched in 2016 by Tom Ford, Velvet Orchid Lumière is a composition that marries the warmth of honey and rum with the lush richness of black orchid and vanilla. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes from mandarin orange and bergamot, which quickly give way to a heart of rose, jasmine, and myrrh. This floral bouquet adds depth and sensuality, setting the stage for a woody and powdery base that includes sandalwood and a touch of vanilla. Velvet Orchid Lumière is a fragrance that exudes opulence without being overwhelming, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury.
