The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2011 under the creative direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentina by Valentino is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies a blend of elegance and complexity. Created by Alberto Morillas and Olivier Cresp, it centers around Amalfi orange blossom, balancing sweet and fruity notes with earthy truffle and animalic undertones. This composition has become one of the brand's most successful releases, though its reception is mixed among enthusiasts — some praise its refined character, while others find it lacking in distinctiveness or longevity.

How to wear it

Apply Valentina sparingly — its top notes of bergamot and strawberry are fleeting. Allow it to develop on skin for a richer experience. The base of amber and cedar offers warmth that lingers best in cooler environments.
