Launched in 2013 by Valentino, Valentina Oud Assoluto was crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp as a bold interpretation of the brand’s signature elegance. The composition opens with cardamom and orange blossom, creating an initial brightness that contrasts sharply with the rich leather and oud notes that follow. These warm, spicy elements merge seamlessly into a heart of Bulgarian rose and saffron, adding depth and complexity before settling into a base of vanilla and woody accords. This fragrance is neither shy nor retiring — it commands attention through its luxurious blend of animalic and white floral notes.
Apply Valentina Oud Assoluto in light layers — its rich base notes take time to bloom fully. The oud and leather accord are best experienced close to the skin rather than across a room. This fragrance is particularly suited for evening wear, where it can truly shine.
