The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Vilhelm Parfumerie, Dear Polly is an aromatic fragrance crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette. The scent opens with a bright burst of bergamot and apple, creating a fresh and lively accord that feels both crisp and inviting. As the composition unfolds, black tea adds a subtle warmth to the mix, complemented by the earthy depth of oakmoss. This interplay between freshness and earthiness is further accentuated by the presence of musk and black amber, grounding the fragrance in an intriguing balance of lightness and richness.
Apply this fragrance in light layers for the best effect — the fresh top notes are bright but fleeting. The earthy base notes will bloom over time, so it's better suited to daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day.
