The story behind the bottle.
Moon Carnival by Vilhelm Parfumerie was launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, blending the bright charm of tuberose with the soft, enveloping warmth of vanilla. The fragrance opens with pink freesia and passionfruit, creating a vibrant contrast before settling into a heart of gardenia and orchid that adds depth and complexity. The base notes of marshmallow and tonka bean contribute an animalic and lactonic character, making Moon Carnival feel both sweet and slightly enigmatic.
Apply Moon Carnival sparingly — its base notes take an hour to bloom fully. The top notes are bright but fleeting, so a lighter first pass allows the deeper layers to emerge gradually throughout the day.
