Star Musk by Xerjoff is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice. This composition opens with mandarin orange and floral notes before transitioning into a heart of iris, cinnamon, and carnation. The base notes of sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, musk, vanilla, benzoin, and opoponax create a warm and enveloping finish. Star Musk is an embodiment of Xerjoff’s commitment to using the finest ingredients, resulting in a rich and luxurious scent that feels both intimate and expansive.
Apply Star Musk to pulse points for the best longevity. The mandarin orange top note is bright but fades quickly, so the heart and base notes take center stage after about an hour. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than in a large space.
