The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2008, Elle Summer Fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent is a vibrant floral fruity scent created by the perfumers Olivier Cresp and Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The composition opens with fresh tangerine and ginger, giving way to peony and red berries that evoke the essence of summer's bounty. Freesia adds an airy freshness while vetiver and patchouli ground the fragrance with earthy warmth. This scent captures the carefree spirit of a sunlit day, where fruity sweetness meets floral elegance.
One or two sprays is enough to capture its essence. The fruity top notes are bright but fleeting, while the floral and woody base notes provide a lasting warmth. Best suited for daytime wear when the sun is shining.
