Launched in 2003, Opium Eau D'ete Summer Fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent is a vibrant and warm Oriental fragrance that captures the essence of summer. The composition opens with zesty mandarin orange, bitter orange, and bergamot, creating an invigorating citrus aura. As it evolves, carnation and jasmine introduce a floral warmth, while myrrh adds a touch of resinous depth. The base notes of vanilla and patchouli offer a grounding and sensual finish, making this fragrance both radiant and comforting.
Two sprays to each wrist or behind the ears are sufficient to capture its full warmth. The citrus top notes dissipate quickly, so it’s best applied right before stepping out to enjoy its evolving warmth throughout the day.
