Launched in 2014 by Yves Saint Laurent and crafted by Sophia Grojsman, YSL Paris L'Edition Venini is a floral fragrance that captures the essence of refined elegance. The composition opens with bright green notes and currant buds, creating an immediate freshness that contrasts beautifully with the rich complexity of its heart and base notes. At its core, it features a lush blend of rose, orange blossom, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, which are anchored by powdery accords of orris and heliotrope. The woody and spicy undertones add depth, making this fragrance both lasting and modern.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. Allow it a few minutes to settle before layering on additional sprays if needed. The green notes are vivid at first but quickly give way to the floral heart, which develops into a powdery warmth over time.
