Rockford by Atkinsons was launched in 1985, crafted by the perfumer Jean Claude Delville. This aromatic fragrance opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and lemon, balanced by lavender's soothing presence. The heart melds powdery carnation and cyclamen with a fresh spicy touch from mace and vetiver. Settling into a warm base of sandalwood, cedar, amber, musk, and tonka bean, Rockford offers an earthy depth that resonates like peat — a distinctive note that adds complexity.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the initial citrus notes make way for the rich base. The fragrance develops over time and reads better close to skin rather than across a room.
