Anne-Sophie Behaghel's Sel d'Argent, launched in 2020 by BDK Parfums, is a composition that captures the essence of coastal elegance. The fragrance opens with a bright and invigorating blend of salt, bergamot, and grapefruit, evoking the freshness of sea air. This citrus-aromatic opening gives way to a heart of Tunisian orange blossom and Madagascar ylang-ylang, adding a touch of floral sweetness. The base notes of white musk, ambroxan, iso e super, and cashmeran create a warm and enveloping finish that lingers on the skin with a powdery musky warmth.
Sel d'Argent is best applied in two layers — one for immediate freshness and another an hour later when the base notes have begun to emerge. The citrus opening is bright but fleeting, so this layered approach ensures you experience both its fresh start and warm finish.
