The story behind the bottle.
Coup de Foudre by Bortnikoff was launched in 2018 and crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff. This Oriental fragrance for both women and men is a complex blend of citrus, warm spices, florals, and woody accords. The composition opens with bright notes like champaca, bergamot, and lemon, giving way to the floral heart of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and rose, before settling into an amber base that includes agarwood (oud) and vanilla. Coup de Foudre captures the essence of a sudden, intense connection — a moment where freshness and warmth intertwine.
Apply Coup de Foudre to pulse points for a layered experience. The citrus and green tea notes are bright but fleeting, so layering helps maintain their presence. For longevity, focus on areas like wrists and neck where your body heat will keep the scent warm throughout the day.
