Criminal of Love, launched by By Kilian in 2014 and crafted by perfumer Dorothée Piot, is a chypre floral fragrance that balances warmth with intrigue. The composition opens with cardamom and saffron, adding an unexpected spicy edge to the Turkish rose at its heart. Atlas cedar and papyrus lend a woody depth, while tobacco and patchouli anchor it in rich earthy tones. Incense and immortelle add a lingering sweetness that keeps this scent from feeling heavy.
This fragrance thrives close to skin, so apply it directly to pulse points. The spicy top notes are fleeting, but the tobacco and patchouli base will linger for hours. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather when its warmth can envelop you fully.
