Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025, Alto Astral by Byredo is a floral aldehyde fragrance that captures the essence of contemporary elegance. Created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, this composition opens with the freshness of coconut water and aldehydes before transitioning into a heart of jasmine and incense, adding warmth and depth. The base notes of cashmeran, sandalwood, and amber provide an enveloping muskiness that is both powdery and woody. Alto Astral is neither overly sweet nor too sharp; instead, it strikes a delicate balance between fresh and warm, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.
One or two sprays are sufficient to experience the full range of Alto Astral's notes. The fragrance develops gradually on the skin, so it’s best applied a few minutes before leaving home. It pairs well with other Byredo products for a cohesive scent profile.
