The story behind the bottle.
Slow Dance by Byredo was launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, capturing the essence of slow, intimate moments. The fragrance opens with opoponax and cognac, creating a warm, enveloping aroma that transitions into a heart of violet and geranium for an added layer of complexity. The base notes of vanilla, patchouli, and incense provide a rich, balsamic warmth that lingers on the skin. Slow Dance is neither overtly sweet nor overpoweringly woody; instead, it strikes a delicate balance between powdery softness and warm spice.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points and let it settle for about five minutes before going out. The fragrance blooms slowly, so avoid layering with other scents to fully appreciate its gradual development.
