Launched in 2021, Young Rose by Byredo is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that marries the freshness of Sichuan Pepper with the warmth and depth of Damask Rose and Iris. The composition opens with a hint of Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and citrus, creating an unexpected contrast between spicy zest and floral sweetness. This tension resolves into a powdery base anchored by musk and ambroxan, resulting in a scent that feels both modern and lasting.
One or two sprays are enough to capture the essence of Young Rose. The spicy top notes are fleeting but impactful, so aim for close application on pulse points. It pairs well with light layers in transitional weather when you want a subtle yet distinctive scent.
