Launched in 2000 by Carolina Herrera and crafted by perfumer Alberto Morillas, 212 Summer Cocktail captures the essence of a lively summer evening. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes — lemon, kumbaru, grapefruit, orange, and mandarin orange — creating an invigorating freshness that feels like an afternoon spent in the sun. These top notes give way to a heart of freesia, jasmine, clementine, gardenia, apple, pear, and pineapple, infusing the composition with a vibrant fruity-floral bouquet. The base notes of sandalwood and musk provide warmth and depth, grounding the lively top and middle layers.
Start with one generous spray — the bright citrus opening is energizing but fades quickly, so you want to capture that initial burst. The fruity-floral heart lasts longer, making it perfect for daytime or early evening events.
