The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Carolina Herrera, Bad Boy was created by perfumers Louise Turner and Quentin Bisch. This Oriental Spicy fragrance opens with a burst of fresh spicy notes like white pepper and pink pepper, balanced by the sweetness of cacao and bergamot. The heart is anchored by woody accords such as cedarwood and clary sage, which are complemented by the warmth of tonka bean and vanilla. Bad Boy has become one of Carolina Herrera's biggest modern commercial hits, frequently ranking among top-selling men’s fragrances on major retail platforms. Despite its widespread popularity, enthusiast opinion remains notably split; some praise it for its rich gourmand-oriental character, while others consider it derivative of similar scents like Eros or 1 Million.
Apply Bad Boy lightly — the spicy top notes are potent and fade within an hour. The base notes take about two hours to bloom fully, so give it time to settle before heading out for maximum impact.
