CH Grand Tour, launched in 2014 by Carolina Herrera and crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp, is a fragrance that embodies the essence of an elegant journey through time and place. It opens with vibrant citrus notes from Brazilian orange, lemon, and grapefruit, creating a bright and uplifting top layer. As it develops, the composition transitions into a heart of iris and orange blossom, adding depth and floral warmth. The base notes of dulce de leche bring a rich, lactonic sweetness that wraps everything in a comforting embrace.
Apply CH Grand Tour lightly at first to allow its layers to unfold over time. The bright citrus top notes can be intense initially but quickly give way to a softer floral and lactonic base. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when the warmth of the dulce de leche can shine without overpowering.
