Launched in 1949 by Caron and crafted by Michel Morsetti, Rose is a lasting floral composition that embodies the elegance of French perfumery. The fragrance opens with a bright burst of Bulgarian Rose and May Rose, balanced by aromatic notes like neroli and geranium. As it evolves, the scent softens into a warm and powdery base of vanilla, iris, musk, and sandalwood, creating a harmonious blend that feels both classic and contemporary.
Apply Rose in light layers, allowing each note to develop naturally. The aromatic and spicy top notes are fleeting, but they set the stage for the rich floral and woody base that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than from a distance.
