Launched in 1947, Farnesiana by Caron is a Floral fragrance that captures the essence of early post-war elegance and sophistication. Created by Michel Morsetti, this composition opens with fresh spicy notes like bergamot and black currant, which give way to a heart of mimosa, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley. The base notes of sandalwood, opoponax, vanilla, and musk create a warm, powdery finish that is both comforting and lasting.
Apply Farnesiana lightly to pulse points; it blooms gradually over time. The spicy top notes are fleeting, but the powdery base will last through the day, making it perfect for a long afternoon indoors or an evening out.
