The story behind the bottle.
La Panthère Eau de Toilette by Cartier, launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Mathilde Laurent, is a sophisticated blend that captures the essence of French elegance. The fragrance opens with a burst of citrus from grapefruit and bergamot, which adds a fresh, zesty brightness to the composition. This vibrant top note transitions seamlessly into a heart of white florals like gardenia, lily-of-the-valley, rose, and jasmine, creating an airy yet lush bouquet. The base notes of musk, patchouli, leather, and sandalwood provide depth and warmth, grounding the fragrance with subtle earthy undertones.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for the best effect. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so allow the fragrance to develop on your skin before reapplying if needed. This one reads better close to the skin than from a distance.
