Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2001 and created by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, Comme des Garçons Series 2 Red: Harissa is a bold interpretation of the spicy and aromatic notes that define its name. This fragrance opens with a sharp burst of citrus and green accents, which quickly give way to a warm, complex blend of spices. The heart of the composition features a rich fougère accord, grounding the scent in an earthy, fresh complexity. It’s a daring olfactory statement that aligns perfectly with Comme des Garçons’ avant-garde ethos.
Harissa projects strongly due to its spicy notes, so one or two sprays will suffice. Allow it time to settle on your skin before layering — the warmth of your body helps bring out the full depth of the spice blend.
