The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Velvet Vetiver by Dolce&Gabbana is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The composition opens with a vibrant green and fruity top note that captures the freshness of early morning dew on grassy fields. This crisp opening gives way to a heart of aromatic and earthy accords, which blend seamlessly into a woody base infused with subtle sweetness. The overall effect is one of luxurious comfort, as if wrapped in a plush velvet blanket.
Apply Velvet Vetiver sparingly at first; the green and fruity top notes dissipate quickly. The woody base develops over time, so it's best experienced close to skin rather than from a distance. Ideal for cooler evenings when the air is crisp but carries a hint of warmth.
