Launched in 2012 by Donna Karan and crafted by perfumer Anne Flipo, Woman is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that embodies the complexity of its wearer. The composition opens with the bright freshness of Orange Blossom, which gives way to the earthy richness of Haitian Vetiver and floral notes, before settling into a warm base of Sandalwood. Donna Karan worked closely with perfumer Anne Flipo and Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., aiming for a fragrance that celebrates women's multifaceted identities. The scent is designed to feel as dynamic and nuanced as the woman who wears it.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays — the Orange Blossom top note is bright but fleeting. The rich base of Sandalwood develops slowly on skin, so it’s best to layer it before heading out for an evening where you want a scent that evolves through the night.
