The story behind the bottle.
Knowing Legacy by Estée Lauder was launched in 2024 and is a chypre floral fragrance for women created by perfumers Anne Flipo, Carlos Benaïm, and Bruno Jovanovic. This composition balances a woody earthiness with the warmth of patchouli and rose, creating an aroma that feels both grounded and elegant. The powdery and warm spicy notes add depth, while the aromatic and fruity accents bring unexpected freshness to the mix. Knowing Legacy is designed to evoke a sense of confidence and sophistication, much like Estée Lauder's enduring legacy in beauty.
Knowing Legacy's powdery base notes take a bit to bloom, so a heavier first pass on pulse points will ensure you catch its full depth. It reads best close to skin rather than in wide sillage, making it perfect for intimate settings where subtle sophistication is key.
