The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021 by Giorgio Armani, Acqua di Gio Profondo Lights was crafted by Alberto Morillas and DSM-Firmenich. This fragrance combines a fresh, aromatic marine opening with a warm, woody base, creating a dynamic contrast that evolves throughout the day. The composition opens with green mandarin and sea notes, which give way to cardamom and rosemary in the heart. These are balanced by balsam fir and cypress, while the base settles into cedar, vetiver, and patchouli, providing depth and warmth.
Apply two to three sprays initially; the marine and citrus notes will fade within an hour but leave a warm woody trail that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when its crispness complements an active lifestyle.
