The story behind the bottle.
L’Ange Noir by Givenchy, launched in 2016 and crafted by perfumers François Demachy and Émilie Coppermann, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies a blend of sophistication and warmth. The composition opens with the crispness of bergamot and pink pepper, giving way to the soft nuttiness of almond and sesame. At its heart, white iris adds a delicate floral touch, while ambrette and tonka bean infuse the base with rich musk mallow and amber notes. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it creates an elegant balance that evokes both French elegance and modern sensuality.
Apply L’Ange Noir with two sprays for optimal effect. The top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so allowing it time to develop on your skin is key. It pairs well in cooler settings, where its powdery and musky base can fully unfold without the risk of overwhelming.
