The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Christophe Hérault crafted Ylang Ambrato for Gucci in 2025, infusing it with the warmth and depth that have become hallmarks of his work. The fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of black pepper and bergamot, setting the stage for the rich ylang-ylang at its heart. This floral note is complemented by tonka bean and benzoin, adding layers of sweetness and balsamic richness. As it settles into a base of tobacco, oak, and opoponax, Ylang Ambrato transforms from an invigorating start to a warm, enveloping scent that evokes the refined elegance for which Gucci is known.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points for a lasting effect. The black pepper top note fades quickly, but the warm amber and balsamic base notes will linger throughout the day. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than projecting into the air.
