The story behind the bottle.
Fleur de Feu, launched by Guerlain in 1949 and crafted by Jacques Guerlain, is a Chypre Floral fragrance that epitomizes the elegance of French perfumery. The composition opens with aldehydes and bergamot, creating an initial freshness that transitions into a heart rich with jasmine, ylang-ylang, and lily-of-the-valley, all underscored by honey and iris. A powdery base of musk, sandalwood, heliotrope, tonka bean, and vanilla rounds out the scent, providing warmth and depth.
Fleur de Feu is a proof of Guerlain’s tradition of using luxurious materials and innovative synthetic components. It stands as one of Jacques Guerlain's masterpieces, blending classic florals with powdery notes in a way that remains both lasting and sophisticated.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced wear. The aldehydes in the top notes will fade within an hour, but the powdery base will linger throughout the day, making it perfect for daytime or evening.

Jacques Guerlain
The poet of the golden ageJacques Guerlain is one of the greatest perfumers who ever lived — the man who gave the world Shalimar, Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, and Vol de Nuit. As the third-generation perfumer of the House of Guerlain, he elevated the family craft into high art.
