Launched in 2020, L'Homme Idéal Extrême by Guerlain is an Oriental Woody fragrance that showcases the expertise of perfumer Thierry Wasser. This composition opens with a vibrant fruity and sweet combination featuring plum and almond, which gives way to pink pepper and cinnamon for a warm spicy note. The heart, dominated by heliotrope and tobacco, adds depth while leather and patchouli in the base create an earthy contrast that grounds the entire fragrance.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points in the morning; the spicy top notes will fade within an hour but the rich base of tobacco and leather will carry you through the day. This scent reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
