The story behind the bottle.
Launched by Guerlain in 2021, Mitsouko Absolu 17 is a chypre fruity fragrance that embodies the brand's tradition of using luxurious and rare materials. Created by perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk, this composition opens with bright citrus notes and a touch of fruitiness before diving into a heart of rose and iris, which are complemented by soft spicy accords. The base is powdery and floral, with violet adding an unexpected layer of complexity.
This fragrance takes about an hour to fully settle on the skin, so plan ahead. It’s best applied close to your pulse points where it can warm and evolve throughout the day.
