Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2007, My Insolence by Guerlain was crafted by perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Sylvaine Delacourte to embody a bold and playful spirit. The fragrance opens with the bright freshness of raspberries and citruses, followed by the delicate almond blossom and jasmine, creating an inviting floral fruity bouquet. This is balanced by the warmth of vanilla, tonka bean, and patchouli, grounding the composition in a sweet and spicy depth that lingers on the skin.
One spray is enough — the fruity top notes are vibrant but fleeting. The base of vanilla and patchouli takes about an hour to fully bloom on skin, so apply it early in the day for maximum impact.

Christophe Raynaud
Architect first, craftsman secondChristophe Raynaud is a perfumer who describes himself as a craftsman with the sensitivity of an artist. He begins each fragrance with a raw olfactory block, working for hours to shape it as a sculptor would — first as architect, then as craftsman.
“At first, I am the architect, and then I become the craftsman.”
