Royal Extract II by Guerlain, launched in 2020 and crafted by perfumer Thierry Wasser, is a Floral Green fragrance that embodies the house's tradition of using luxurious materials. The composition opens with petitgrain and pink pepper, bringing a fresh green aromatic quality that contrasts beautifully with the heart notes of hyacinth and orange blossom. Cedar, galbanum, moss, and vetiver form an earthy, woody base that adds depth and warmth to the overall scent.
Apply Royal Extract II in light layers — the fresh top notes are bright but fleeting. The fragrance's true depth emerges after about half an hour as the woody and mossy base notes come through. Ideal for daytime wear when you want a subtle yet sophisticated scent.
