The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Guerlain and crafted by Thierry Wasser, Songe d'un Bois d'Ete is a Woody Spicy fragrance that evokes the essence of an autumn twilight. The dry, spicy opening with saffron and cardamom creates an immediate sense of warmth and depth, while the jasmine heart adds a subtle touch of elegance. As it settles into its base notes of oud, myrrh, patchouli, and leathery undertones, Songe d'un Bois d'Ete transforms into a smoky, earthy embrace that feels both familiar and mysterious.
One to two sprays is sufficient as this fragrance develops its depth and warmth within minutes. It pairs well with cooler weather but can also be worn year-round for its rich and enveloping notes.
