Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Paul Guerlain launched Too Much by Guerlain in 2000, crafting a composition that balances vibrant freshness with powdery warmth. The fragrance opens with the bright zest of bergamot and mimosa, setting a sunlit mood before transitioning to a heart of lily, hyacinth, and narcissus. These floral notes are complemented by jasmine, adding layers of depth and complexity. The base features benzoin and amber, grounding the scent with a warm, powdery finish that lingers throughout the day.
Apply two sprays at the wrists and neck for optimal longevity. The fresh spicy top notes are short-lived, so allow it to settle before heading out. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a wide sillage.
