With Love by Guerlain was launched in 2003 as a floral fragrance for women that encapsulates the brand's long-standing tradition of using luxurious and rare materials. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from mandarin orange and lemon, creating an initial freshness that contrasts beautifully with the heart of freesia and lily, which brings a delicate floral bouquet to life. As the scent settles into its woody base of cedar and sandalwood, it is enveloped by musky, powdery, and slightly animalic undertones, giving it a sensual warmth.
One or two sprays to the pulse points is sufficient — the citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, making way for the floral heart and woody base. Best applied close to skin for an intimate warmth rather than a loud announcement.
