CivetPremium · $100–250Composition & Character
The story behind the bottle.
Civet, launched by Houbigant in 1973, is an Oriental fragrance that embodies the house's legacy of French elegance and sophistication. This composition opens with a distinctive musky aroma, accented by notes of Civet to create a bold animalic presence. The powdery heart softens this intensity, while amber adds warmth and depth, making Civet a complex blend that is both daring and refined.
Apply Civet sparingly to let its complex layers unfold gradually. The animalic opening can be intense, so one or two sprays are sufficient. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than projecting widely.
