Launched in 1971 by Houbigant, a French perfume house established in 1775, Musk is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with the brightness of bergamot, leading into a floral heart where ylang-ylang, geranium, jasmine, and rose create an elegant bouquet. As it settles, Musk and oak moss provide a soft, earthy warmth that grounds the entire profile. This fragrance balances freshness with depth, making it both modern and lasting.
One to two sprays is sufficient for this fragrance. The top notes are fresh and vibrant but dissipate within an hour or so, giving way to a rich, warm base that stays close to the skin rather than projecting widely. Best suited for daytime wear when its floral freshness complements the warmth of the sun.
