The story behind the bottle.
Houbigant launched Patchouli in 1975 as a Woody fragrance for both women and men. This composition centers around the rich, earthy aroma of patchouli, which grounds it with its distinctive musky warmth. The woody accords add depth and complexity, while the warm spicy notes introduce an unexpected layer of heat that cuts through the earthiness. The balsamic undertones create a lush, resinous finish that lingers on the skin.
Apply lightly — the patchouli note is potent and will project well. The warmth of this fragrance makes it ideal for cooler evenings or layered under a jacket for added depth during the day.
